The Parkway FFA Chapter had many students participate this year in the Mercer County Fair. The chapter had students participate in the animal shows, such as Danny Knapke, Dee Dee Knapke, and Melinda Miller who showed sheep and Michelle Thomas and Jenifer Thomas who showed poultry. We also had many students from the chapter who brought in wood projects, welding projects and vegetables that were judged at the fair. That is just a small portion of what the chapter worked on at the fair.
Students, as well as their parents, from the Parkway FFA Chapter volunteered to work at the FFA Food Stand with Fort Recovery FFA Chapter members. The stand had Pepsi products and all kinds of fried food such as fries, chicken fingers, etc. The students had a great time working with the other members from the Fort Recovery Chapter and the customers that went to the food stand. The FFA Food Stand had another successful year and will probably be at the Mercer County Fairgrounds next year.
The Parkway FFA Chapter would like to thank everyone who supported our food stand by buying food and thank the students for making this another successful year.

Fair winds down for another year, but the fair still brings folks that enjoy the week.
