GENERAL INFORMATION
1. All exhibitors must have an ANNUAL/EXHIBITOR
TICKET which admits one person into the fair all week.
2. Entries may be made at the SECRETARY’S OFFICE
at the fairgrounds beginning JULY 1, 2005.
3. ALL ENTRIES CLOSE ON FRIDAY, August 5, at 5:00 p.m. NO LATE ENTRIES WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR
JUDGING.
4. Entries must be listed on the GENERAL ENTRY BLANK. No exhibitor will be allowed to make more
than one entry in any one class/item number, except in CHILDREN’S DIVISION.
(Example: only one #29 FANCY PILLOW)
5. All entries will be open to Mercer County
residents and to all exhibitors from counties holding fairs open to Mercer
County.
6. Children
under 16 years of age may exhibit on parent’s ANNUAL/EXHIBITOR’S ticket. A
maximum of two children may exhibit on one
parent’s
ticket.
7. Any
article not worthy of a premium because of inferior quality or age, with or
without competition, may be eliminated as the judge
sees fit.
8. DECISION OF JUDGES IS FINAL.
9. All articles will be displayed after judging.
10. There will be only one premium per item.
11. The exhibitor is responsible for his exhibit,
but reasonable care will be taken of properties.
RULES:
1. Bring exhibits in on MONDAY, AUGUST 8, from
2:00 P.M. TO 6:00 P.M. to the F.O.P. Building.
2. All items must be new, completed and clean,
and made by the exhibitor since the previous fair.
3. CLOSED JUDGING will be on TUESDAY,
AUGUST 9, at 10:00 A.M.
4. RELEASE
TIME: TUESDAY, AUGUST 16 from 11:00 A.M. TO 4:00
P.M. No articles are to be removed
before this release time;
not responsible for articles left after above
stated release time.
5. Your premium money will be available at
release time and must be picked up in the Domestic Department along with
exhibited items. Premiums not picked
up during release time will be forfeited and will revert back to the Mercer
County Fair Board.
6. All pictures MUST be framed and have
hangers.
7. There will be six BEST OF SHOW awards: ART - FURNITURE
- NEEDLEWORK - CRAFTS - PHOTOGRAPHY - QUILT
-CHILDREN 16 & UNDER

Quilts made
before 2000 will be in class 41-44.
9.
Quilts made
2000-2005 will be in class 37-40.
10. Quilts eligible to enter hand sewn class must be 51%
hand sewn.
