Camping at the Fair

New showers and restrooms have been added for on-site campers
The Mercer County Fairgrounds, located at 1001 W. Market St., Celina, Ohio, offers numerous campsites, both shaded and sunny for camping. A number of sites offer electricity, water and drainage. Sites are located next to fine gravel or paved roads, making it easy to pull in and out. Electricity is ample and available throughout the grounds. Reservations are required.
A dump station is located on the grounds for your convenience with a donation box. Fees for camping are $15.00 per day and include water and electricity. Air conditioning is $5.00 for two days. Group rates are available. You may hook up anywhere on the grounds you find electric and water hook-ups.
Several building of various sizes are available for rental for activities. This includes the Junior Fair Building, which offers bathrooms, tables and chairs. The grandstand offers generous seating capacity and is available for rental or you may rent just the grounds. Banquet facilities are available through the local Grange Hall. We have a refundable $100.00 clean-up fee for rental of the grounds.
The Mercer County Fairgrounds are located in Celina, Ohio, named one of the nations "100 Best Small Towns". The town is located near the intersection of Routes 29 and 127 in West Central Ohio. Celina is large enough to provide numerous activities, while retaining an enchanting small town appeal.
The Fairgrounds are conveniently located for leisure time activities. A number of dining establishments ranging from fast food to fine dining are just minutes from your campsite. The area offers a variety of shopping experiences, from the unique to the antique.
Ohio's largest man-made lake, Grand Lake St. Marys, is just a stone's throw away. Grand Lake St. Marys provides some of the state's finest fishing, as well as the basis for many a festival. Celina's own Lake Festival in July brings parades, pageants and pride in the regions heritage. August brings the Mercer County Banner Fair with activities for all ages and the Governor's Cup Regatta which attracts boat-racing fans from all over the nation. Beginning Memorial Day and lasting until Labor Day, rarely does a weekend go by without a festival in the area.
